David Inglis
David has been Chairman and Director of Age Concern Guernsey since 1993, supporting every aspect of the charity’s wide reaching activities. In this he works closely with project boards associated with Health & Social Care including Carewatch, Joint Strategic Needs for the Older Person, and Ageing Well in the Bailiwick. Previously founder and manager of a local family business which he ran for many years, David also has a strong background in the third sector having spent many years in parish roles, being States Deputy from 2012-16; as committee member of the Confederation of Guernsey Industry; chairman of Postwatch Guernsey; and chairman of the Guernsey Island Games Association.
Mark Palfrey
Mark has managed multi-million-pound construction companies in Guernsey and Jersey as well as chairing a facilities management company employing over 250 staff. A Chartered Director and Fellow of the Institute of Directors, Mark has chaired its Guernsey branch. He is a Chartered Builder and previously chaired the Chartered Institute of Building Guernsey branch, he has twice chaired the Guernsey Building Trade Employers Association. Mark also has qualifications in Business Sustainability from Cambridge University. When not at work Mark can be found road running, looking for his lost golf ball or cheering on Brighton and Hove Albion football club.
